Absolutely nothing technical about this thread. Just asking which ones AR15.com thinks are the coolest.
My opinion: S&W 629, 586, Korth Combat. What are you're choices? |

I always thought the Smolts and bowen classic did a redhawk with an anaconda barrel. Pretty interesting.

Korth.
Schofield. Ruger super RedHawk Toklat. A Smith and Wesson seven shot 357. In that order. Of what I actually have the Ruger match champion GP100 is pretty nifty. |

View Quote Don't know if you were referring to my Redhawk but it was completely torn apart and redone by Cylinder and Slide close to 20 years ago for me. Don't know about the Bowens but mine shoots lights out and has a trigger better that almost anything I've ever felt single or double action. |

Coolest revolver would be:
10 shots of .327 Fed Mag. Bottom firing like the Chiappa Rhino. Break-top like a Schofield. Cocls the hammer to SA when you close it. Fed from moon clips. Made with the trigger pull, fit, and finish of a pre-lock S&W. Integrated pressure switch for lights and laser so you don't have to reach past the cylinder/flash gap to activate them. And I want a unicorn that farts rainbows and bubblegum monkeys for my birthday. |
|
I'm still partial to my 6" M29 and my 4" 686.
Nothing particularly special but I hope to never lose them. Dave N |
|
4" Python in Royal Blue.
And I'm not a Colt guy. Edited to add: a very, very close 2nd is the S&W "Blood Work" Model 27 . HAS to have the fluted cylinder, though. |
