The Royal Phoenix, was a request by the famous wholesaler Lipsey's to Ruger to make a special production run GP100 whose blueing would match that of the classic Python and posses other features of classic high end revolvers (such as natural wood grips and mirror polished hammers and triggers)

Only 589 ever made in a single production run that became a classic.
Its so beautiful I never shot it after I zeroed it.
Practice with my other 4 inch GP100s.

I paid twice for this revolver what a basic new one costs.

It's my nightstand gun though ....as I decided if I ever die with a gun in my hand.... to let it be this one.

PS: What looks like lots of small scratches on the frame is just fuzz from the cloth bag it was in.
