A 3in J frame in their pocket? If so, how?

Carry a 2inch... no holster, empty pocket

Deep pockets?

I carry a 1-7/8" or 2-1/8" in a Desantis Nemesis regularly. A 3" is a bit much.

I AIWB carried a 3" J-frame for a little while. It was a major pain. I now carry a 1-7/8", same method.

If I choose to carry the 3" again, it would be an IWB holster at the 4 or 5 o'clock in a Crossbreed Supertuck.

But if I do that, I may as well carry a semi-auto that holds 2-3x the amount of ammo.

3 Inch is a little long for pocket carry, you might need contractor pants with hammer pockets.

If there is no way that I can carry my 5" 1911, I carry a 640 (.357, 2") in an empty pocket, no holster.  I haven't tried it, but I don't think a 3" J-frame would work for me, the way I carry a J.
