Right now working out a possible trade for a Colt Python (6 inch Blue) and a first year production S&W Model 67. I'd be trading an AWB era Colt 6721 (acquired by PD Letter Head) with a C-More Red Dot and some mags. The rifle is mint and sit in my Old Man's safe back in Little Havana.

Guy knows what he has but isn't a revolver fan. He inherited them from his father. He wants an AR.

My question of am I crazy or not is.... how the hell haven't I made the deal yet? I'm salvating at the thought of those two works of art resting in my safe.

Edit:

Got the Python.

Sorry for crappy pics.

If you haven't already done the deal, I have an leo, restricted marked 6721 that I'd love to trade for those revolvers.

For that trade I'd chip in a couple hundred to make him move faster before he changes his mind.

Crazy if you don't, you're way ahead trading for the python even if the S&W 67 didn't come with it.

You can buy another AR, can you buy another Python at that price?  No.

That said, I have both python and model 19.  I prefer the model 19 on the trigger staging alone.  The python is just different, stages heavy toward the end and then falls off giving me a last microsecond wobble.  The S&W is just smooth and predictable.

Hell I'm considering selling my python but it would go at a stiff python price.

So you are here asking if you should trade a $1200 rifle for around $4000 worth of revolvers?

He's not actually asking. This is his way of a "look at the deal I got" post.

Stop ruining my fun. The deal hasn't gone through yet. Still waiting on his end.

I already have a six in blue but I couldn't pass it up. I traded $1,300 worth of AR for a $2,500 Python.

Awesome score!  Years ago I thought of buying a Colt Python but when I saw the prices.  Forget it.  I'm not a collector and I shoot and run my guns hard. So it wouldn't be worth me buying/trading for one.  Enjoy.

You made out a bandit bandito.

I'm jelly. You realize that Python is NOT chambered in 40 S&W. Send it to me for proper disposal when you come to your senses.

When I translate it it from inch to metric to spanish. .357 Magnum becomes .40 S&W.
