How exactly do you fix timing? I was told it was all about the hand that moves the cylinder? Is that correct?

thanks.

Timing is a function of several parts, the hand just being one of them. Some revolvers are easier to deal with than others, but none of them are simple when it comes to timing issues.

The way to fix timing is to find a gunsmith that knows what he's doing or send it back to the factory. This is especially true of old Colts.
