THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
made by JP Sauer and Sohn. It is a .357 magnum Western Marshall. Some holster wear but looks great mechanically.
So, anything I need to know about the care and feeding of this old timer?

Very nice looking revolver. Have you had it to the range yet and how did it go?

Don't keep it in the holster–– it will rust faster than if it's kept oiled in a rug. You should have seen my Dad's Python after he passed away, and he'd had it in the holster for Lord knows how long . . . Nice catch!

Hasn't been to the range yet, hopefully as soon as I can get a day off (working 6 days/week right now) I am really looking forward to trying it out. I just found out it was made in 1968 so even if it ain't real old it definitely ain't no spring chicken either.
