I just picked up this used 6 1/2" Blackhawk yesterday. I originally planned on having a 4 5/8" barrel put on it, but when I got it home I saw that it was a Bicentennial model, so I think I'll just keep it as-is.
It has some nicks and dings, but it's not bad for a nearly 40-year old gun. Oh, it doesn't have that annoying safety notice engraved on the barrel either. |

just found this thread..... I am a Ruger freak, I have owned over a dozen pistol models and a few rifles as well.
