I just picked up this used 6 1/2" Blackhawk yesterday. I originally planned on having a 4 5/8" barrel put on it, but when I got it home I saw that it was a Bicentennial model, so I think I'll just keep it as-is.

It has some nicks and dings, but it's not bad for a nearly 40-year old gun. Oh, it doesn't have that annoying safety notice engraved on the barrel either.

I sold this GP100 5 years ago and I regretted it. Finally was able to buy it back today.

Gunsite is a twenty minutes drive from the factory, and I'm 5 minutes out from the Ruger factory. Vang Comp is a 16 minute drive also

Stop by our hometown forum before you come visit for any questions.

I never had any wishes to go to Gunsite, although I base most of that on Jeff Cooper.
Never cared for the man.
Now that he is gone, hopefully his distasteful attitude has left the place.

Just picked this SR1911CMD up for $508. Been thinking about another commander for a while but wasn't really looking too hard. Looked like a pretty good price to so I decided it needed to come home with me
