Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ruger American Sight Adjustment

I received my RAP in 45 acp, it shoots quite well, but it came with the front sight seated off center to the right, making the gun shoot to the left considerably.  The sight appears impossible to move.  Can anyone let me know if it loctited in or if there is something that I am missing.  Your help would be greatly appreciated in this.
