I put a bid on a Ruger P90 and won it for a great price. It came a little dirty but cleaned up perfectly. The rails and slide look as new. I took some Never Dull to it and polished it up and it worked great. The action is butter smooth and so is the trigger. I had one about 20 years ago and don't remember why I sold it. It is a solid platform and built like a tank. The one I had prior was very accurate and easy to shoot. It's a shame they don't build them anymore.

I thought that's what you meant  but thought I might have broken a rule somewhere. I will get some up after I get my camera working again. I dropped it on the floor and it didn't seem to like it. Anyone else have a P90?

My wife bought me a P90 for the first Christmas after we were married. (1998)

It's an awesome pistol. Accurate and comfortable to fire.

I used to own this one,

Got it for $200 (in 2002),

But after watching my brother nearly shoot a cloverleaf group with it, I figured he'd get better use out of it than me.

The P89 I eventually got to replace it goes better with my PC9 anyways.

Enjoy your pistol, OP!
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you get it for?

Although down the road, the P89 is next on my list and a 6906.

Had one some years ago.  Sold it because I thought I needed a SIG 220.  I shot the Ruger better.

Only downside on the P90 is finding mags at a reasonable price.

So will a S&W 4506 and 4566. The Rugers and S&W 3rd Gens were of an era of über strong guns. I don't own any P Series Rugers but I respect the hell out of 'em. Quality and affordability in a nice package. They ain't pretty but they work.

I usually have no regrets whenever I trade or sell off any of my guns, but I miss the 6906 I traded towards a Glock. I don't even have that Glock anymore.

My first 45ACP pistol was the P90 DC. It shot very well, was totally reliable, and recoil was very manageable. I traded it a few years later for a S&W 457 45ACP for concealed carry. Another great gun!!

I'm thinking about getting one because i've always been intrigued by them.  They look awkward to me but people rave about their reliability.

I was looking online and there is not much in the way of belt holsters for them.

maybe a custom kydex or back in the day we had uncle mike universals that fit.

I still have mine but it doesn't get shot much.  The tiny sights, slippery grip and low capacity are the only negatives and some of those can be fixed but I have other guns that get much more time.  Its more of a bedside, spare room gun.  I know it will work when it has to.

What's the street price on a P90 in very good condition.  I found one for $250 and thought was a decent price.

All the ones I've seen recently have been in the $300 to $350 range.
And those were well used.
