Hy folks,
I do have purchased a police service six revolver. I do allways wanted such a gun, now I have recieved it, and I want to date it. SN 155-44XXX

Any comments about that?

I believe you can go to Ruger's website and type in the number.  My 151 series is a 1975, so your's is quite a bit later.
