I just picked up a slightly used SR9c Stainless
, guy claimed one box of ammo shot through it and based on wear, I believe it.

But the trigger was very gritty, not as good as the reviews stated.  So I took the slide apart, and Lo, I found a chunk of some crap sticking to the striker, looks like a small piece of plastic flashing or machining chip.  After removing foreign material, the trigger is much better, but there is still some grabbiness which I hope will wear off in time.

The gun I rented at my local range had a very smooth trigger!

Thousands of rounds down range will do that. We dry fired the crap out of my wife's compact after we got it, its smooth and halfway decent.
