today I went out to shoot my sr9c the last time I took it out, about 2 weeks ago it ran normal, don't remember if I cleaned it after I shot it that day, and it's been in my truck since, well every time I shoot it, it ejects the shell and the slide stays open and I have to release the bolt catch to get it to release, also when loading it, I pull the slide back it catches it, I haven't had a chance to take it apart yet and look at it, but what can cause it?

There are several reports of the slide lock spring coming loose. It is not hooked around anything but pinched in place. Bad design. One of the reasons I don't trust mine to be a SHTF pistol.

dang, you had to tell me that and I LOVE this pistol....

I like mine too but look up the pics and see if the pinched spring looks like a good idea to you.

My LC9 does this when dirty.  Try just cleaning it first and see if that helps.
