They are very sought after, as I'm sure you're finding out.
I'll see them on ebay sometimes.  I would imagine gunbroker and those other gun auction sites might have them.
Good luck.  Thats a sweet revolver you have.  I agree the Hogue grips suck on the GP100.

MidwayUSA has the fullsize without inserts.  Lots of people make the inserts.

They are a great grip.  I wish I'd gotten a couple years ago.

Is there even anything similar available anywhere?  I wouldn't be opposed to a wood version....

I posted a WTB add in the EE here.
A member offered up a used set,at a great price too!

They really should start making this grip again.

Shoots well. Sights are great. Grip is a little small for fast follow up shots.

These sorts of pictures make me desperately want to buy a 3" GP100 and those grips.

Ruger really should make those grips again. I bought a set just in case I ever wanted to CCW my 4" GP100. Havent used them though.

They were contracted out.  The company that made them went out of business.

Altamonte makes GP100 grips like the old factory.  I'd say exactly like the factory as the inserts they sell will fit in the old factory grips.

They are not the the compact grip but they are 1000X better than that shitty Houge grip that now comes on Ruger revolvers.  Ruger needs to figure out how to get their old grip manufactured.  WTF is it with these gun companies and these finger groove grips?  I hate them, hate them on semi autos where they are permanent and hate them on revolvers.

I think the only Rugers that had that compact grip were the fixed sight 3" GP100.  I have one I bought in 1991 and I'll never part with it.

Keep an eye on Midway for the compact rubber grips.  They have had them in stock off and on for many years.  I was able to get a bunch for about $7.50 each a couple years ago.   New old stock that was probably squirreled away someplace.  They are currently listed at $8.49 but with an overdue arrival date.  Maybe they will keep showing up on occasion.

My new 4" SP101 came with the laser engraved wood inserts in the compact rubber grip. I really liked the feel of it compared to the older plastic inserts. That was one thing that sold me on the gun today. I don't plan to change a thing on it.

I just bought 2 sets last week.($8.49)  However, they are not the compact grips....or the ones that are on a 3" fixed sight GP.  They are the full sized GP100 grips.  I also bought the locator and the grip screws.  I don't even need them but I am sure to get either an Alaskan or a 4" GP100 at some point to go with my 3" GP and I absolutely HATE the crappy hogue finger groove grips they are putting on these guns now.  Nobody likes them, they look like shit.  Ruger needs to wake up and go back to the original.  JMHO
