Local store has a 4" stainless GP100 in .357 for 679+ tax. MSRP is 759. It's the only one I've found in stock. Go/no go?

$699 at Bass Pro/ Cabelas... lots of places do not stock em so it depends how bad you want to wait.
I think I paid a lil over $500 for my Blued 4 inch but that was before all the craziness.... nice shooting pistol.

Thanks, all, for the input.

If I got that from one of my main distributors and marked it $679 that would be over 20% margin, seems a bit high.

Did 649 plus tax. Not great, but happy I found one. Thanks everyone for your help. Digging my first revolver.

If you want speed go for Buffer Tech "jet loaders" and practice those reloads with dummy ammo.

That's on the high side but you got yourself a tank of a gun and my personal SHTF choice.   My current model is a stainless Wiley Clapp GP, absolutely fantastic wheelie.  Congrats on your new GP!

Now go buy a Wolf spring kit and you will be amazed at the difference it makes.

Been a S&W guy my whole life. Grabbed a second WCII I liked the first so much.

I've got a blue 4" and a SS 5", but that price is still a little high in my neck of the woods.

I waited patiently for just the right gun to come along on GB.  If you have the time and patience, then you can probably save yourself 50-100.
