Yea, someone might have mispriced it. Either way, get it.

I think it's the best .357 snub ever.

Handles recoil better than the old S&W J, has a much better trigger, too.

I had abandoned the .357 snubs until the LCR came out. They recoiled hard, had lousy triggers, and that combo made them hard to practice with and shoot decently. The LCR fixes that.

The wife often carries mine, so I might have to buy another.

No 5-shot makes a good primary carry gun, though better than nothing.

But they are great as a backup or just going to the mail box gun. Think of the 5 shot snub as a 21st century derringer. Quick out of the pocket, reliable, about 19 oz loaded.

Don't worry about reloading a revolver when someone is trying to kill you, it probably ain't gonna happen. Either carry a higher capacity gun or a second gun.

I found the eight-round speed strips to be the cheapest and most convenient way to reload a revolver at the range. Buy a bunch of them they don't cost much and don't last forever. Far easier to have in your pocket than big round speed loaders if you decide to drop extra ammo in a pocket.

For a lower-recoil, low muzzle blast, and low muzzle flash round try the Federal 180gr SJHP .357 "classic" load. It's my favorite in this gun.

This guy doesn't seem to have any problem with speedloaders.

I had the 357 & 22, sold them both. I want to like wheel guns, but I'm just an auto guy deep down. Never had any issues with the 357, but the 22 would jam up all the time, and when I say jam I'm talking tight as a drum. Never did figure out why, thought it was the ammo casings bulging, but I'm not 100% sure I really believe that. There where others on the rimfirecentral forums that experianced the same issues. I don't miss either, my wife & I love our G26 carry guns, and LOVE our 22/45 rim fires.

I put this together a few weeks ago. It's kind of long. Get coffee.
Long story short... I like the LCR. It's a great gun.
As others have said, try 5 Star speedloaders out of Texas. They run about $18 or so each and they work much better than the HKS speedloaders for the J frames.
Hope this helps.
