my kimber Contribution.... Target eclipse 2... G10 grips, ed brown magwell flare, Wilson extended slide stop... This pic shows it with the wilson muzzle break.... but i ended up taking it off... it worked pretty well but i decided that I liked the original look of the barrel...

Duracoated my Eclipse Target II a while back, loved the way it shoots but got tired of the two-tone finish.
Added a Fusion MSH & magwell

My newest addition with better pictures, NOT from my cell phone Kimber Series I Compact Custom 4" BBL on Steel Officers frame and Kimber Metal MSH/Magwell with my own home made turnbull & re-blued finish on slide....think I am going to get to the frame next, dunno yet. Did some experimenting here in the shop at work on the slide and came up with this home made hand finish. Ok, for a beginner but now begs the question, do I keep going on the frame....? Oh yeah, I have some magwell grips inbound from a 1911 forum member so these are just temporary, I'll post pics of new grips when they arrive as well as a new DeSantis Mad Max IWB....The first series of pictures is how she looks to the naked eye, pretty much and then with ultra bright flash to show I'm no pro ....Enjoy!

The nice part is they have a pretty good knurl to them so they grip well unlike the faux ivory ones on the other Kimber. |
