Here is my Warrior.
Something I would like to know though.... For all of you who have a Warrior, maybe a Custom Covert II, or any Kimber with the KIM PRO II finish on it. Why does the safety selector turn chalky and dull? This happened on my Custom Covert II before I ever fired it. And it has happened on my Warrior as well, that is new to me, and only has 70-80rds through it. It is worse now than when I took this picture three weeks ago... I did not read this whole thread. I wanted to post a photo of my warrior. Then I thought I would ask here, because I did a search on the key words in my question above ~ results = negative Thanks, M4-CQBR |

If you guys want to make recommendations, I'd appreciate it as this is my first 1911 and I don't know much about the platform other than it is a 100 year old design that people still trust. Without further delay, pictures! Pic Pic lol, I'm actually in the exact same boat. Just bought a new Warrior for $900 yesterday, my first 1911. Any suggestions for stuff to do with it would be welcome. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/musicianamedave/IMG_0123.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/musicianamedave/IMG_0129.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/musicianamedave/IMG_0131.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/musicianamedave/IMG_0133.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v443/musicianamedave/IMG_0139.jpg Anyone know who makes these "rosewood" grips? |

Decided to change out some of the parts for stainless to make it a bit different. This one I use for off duty. |

Can the front strap of the Warrior be serrated/checkered without hurting the finish?
