Hey fellas, got a couple of newbish questions for you guys.  First off I purchased a Kimber Custom TLE/RL II.  I am wondering what kind of magazines do you guys run with it?  And secondly, I can't tell if it is just the lighting in my house, or if my eye sight is just going to shit, but what is the bolt pattern on the grips?  I bought some VZ grips for it and I can't tell what kind of bolt is used.

Magazines, go with Wilson 47D or Tripp Cobra mags. By far the best options. Chip McCormick also makes a good mag. As far as the grip screws, no clue. Never owned a Kimber.

The only magazine I use in all three of my 1911's are Tripp. 8 rounds in the 4 and 5 inch and 7 round in the 3 inch. The grip screws will be the same unless you bought VZ thin grips and then the bushings need to be changes and you use a smaller screw. Wilson are also great magazines but I have always used the Tripp so I have never purchased any other magazine. Also I have never had a magazine issue since using the Tripp. The final reason is I have magwells on my three 1911's and the Tripp with black base plate fits perfect. They hang just below magwell so your sure of proper seating.
