According to the owners manual of the Missus' new Solo ((SHE read the manual...not me. )) the recoil spring should be replaced every 1K rounds. Only 1K rounds!?!? WoW, that is a short lived spring!!!

Any Solo owners out there find this to be true?

If so, any suggestions on 3rd party recoil spring with a better life expectancy?

Shorter spring life with small pocket carry guns is VERY common. They are a consumable, just like ammo, cleaning products and lube.
the spring takes one hell of a beating as the slide is shorter and lighter weight. You may try Gunsprings.com, they carry Wolff springs.
Personally, I would stick with Kimber springs.
