My EDC now is Pro CDP I and I love it. However, I'm really liking the Super Carries line.

Looking for Super Carry owners (specifically the Pro) for some feed back. Would it be worth it to sell my Pro CDP II for a Super Carry.

I did this exact swap yesterday. Traded my CDP pro for the Pro Super Carry HD. Immediately took the pro carry to the indoor range where I swapped at and put 100 rounds thru it almost non stop with only factory oil in gun. It ran like a sewing machine and got so hot towards end of muzzle you couldnt touch it! I am readlly digging it so far.

I'm waiting for the right deal to come along, then I'll own one. I like the 4" Pro. I have a Raptor Pro II and a Tacial Ultra II, both have been good reliable guns. Kimbers have been flawless for me, but others bash them. They are among the best shooting 1911's I own.

I have super carry pro 4". Love the handling and the feel. BUT I have had FTF problems from day one. No matter what type of ammo or running clean, dirty, wet or dry. The round will get hung up half way in. Doesnt matter if its the first round you rack or in the middle of the mag. Finally could'nt take it anymore. Sent the firearm back to kimber with the problem. They replaced the recoil spring. (said it was shot). Kimber told me that they have problems with the recoil spring. Only last around 500 rounds. Well started shooting it again. Worked well for 100 rounds and started to do it again. Did I mentioned this is my CCW. Well I can't trust my life with this weapon any longer. So I've decided to bring it back to the fun store and take a bite in the ass and trade it in for something else. To bad even though it performed lousy. I really loved the feel in my hand. The only way that weapon would have saved my life. Is if I left it loaded on my back porch for the robbers to use when they break in. What an exspensive $1700 lesson.
