Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trigger adjustment

Just got my first DE, a brushed chrome DE. Really impressed with how well it shot, but I could shoot even better if I could reduce the trigger pull weight. The manual says the trigger is adjustable. If I understand correctly, the trigger can be adjusted to redistribute the weight between the first and second stages but cannot actually reduce the trigger pull weight. Is this correct?

Any suggestions on reducing the trigger pull weight?
