I was browsing gunbroker and found several of these for sale Here, to me it appears to be a polymer model with a frame safety, am I correct in this? If so does anyone own one or has anyone shot one and what is the consensus?

I think you're right. Never shot one.

The IMI markings mean it's 2005 or older.  That's when IMI privatized the small arms division and it became IWI.

That pistol is interesting beyond being a FL because the passenger side section on the frame above the rail is blank plate instead of the US Importer's info.
Also, the SN# is stamped like the military guns, instead of the usual CNC needle gun etching.
( fourth and fifth pics down )

I'd ask the seller if there are any importer's markings somewhere else on the pistol. If not, it probably came down from Canada.

ETA: these are probably Ex- Izzy Police guns.  There are also police Browning HPs clones that have been coming in.

I believe these are ex-Izzy police guns, the same seller has been selling steel Jerichos for awhile that are in a range of conditions, the price sure seems good on them.
