Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Has anyone installed the Lazy Wolf Guns Firing Pin Spring?

I'm currently trying to install this on an H&k 45 CT and it just seems way too small for the firing pin. Where the stock pin rests on the collar, the upgraded spring seems to rest on the actual firing pin flare. I'm not mechanically inclined so any help or an instruction manual would be greatly appreciated. Also, is this pin even worth it? It was less than $10 from hkparts.net. Thanks!

are you sure you ordered a firing pin spring and not the firing pin block spring? can you post a picture or part number?

It's LWGFPBS, enhanced firing pin block spring.

Red is the firing pin spring. yellow is the firing pin block spring, the part you listed. the example is a P30 LEM.
