Does HK provide a history of a firearm's original sales history such as it's original configuration. I have 1 of the 500 OD green framed USPs in .40 that I'd like to see how it originally shipped from the factory.

If you are looking for a history letter like you get from Smith & Wesson, HK doesn't do that. You can contact them and ask a specific question regarding the serial number, but you already know it's a 2004 production, and limited to 500 guns. If you want to know who it originally shipped to, you can ask, they might tell you.
