I wouldn't doubt that they have plans for such a thing. To me, it looks like they want to compete with Glock? Rolling out new versions of the VP series every so often.
I'd buy a compact or subcompact VP9 right now. |

HK seems like they're trying to compete better with Glock, given the relatively low price of the VP series. If they want more of that market, they gotta know a compact is needed. There was a photo shopped image of one on HPRO but.........it was photo shopped. The conventional wisdom is there will be one eventually. The only reason I keep my Shield is sometimes I can't dress around my VP9, especially in the summer.

I saw the one VP9 that the guy hacked up to VP9C size. It didn't look that bad.
