I've got the P30 Sk and it's a great shooter.

I was looking into one but a vp9 pretty much fell into my lap. That or a 45 is on my short list. Ergos are great!

Love the P30 ergo's, never found a trigger varient I liked, I wanted to like the V1, but trigger is LOOONNGG.  I've got the parts to convert my P30 to a V4.1 soon, otherwise I love the VP9.

What's taking you so long? I had mine changed over the day I got the parts.  It really helps take care of the long pretravel and weak reset of the V1.

I would love to have a P30 frame with a VP9 trigger.

Loved the grip but the trigger was a deal killer for me on the P30

I hardly ever hear this complaint, but it was a no go for me. The grip texture. I carry inside the waist band. The grip texture is too aggressive and is very uncomfortable against the skin. This was corrected on the p30sk model, of which now I carry. The VP9 also has a more friendly texture for CCW against skin. I would go with the VP9 if it were me, of which i own as well.

Pretty sure all new P30s have the new grip texture.

My biggest gripe with the P30S is that many of the P30 holsters explicitly do NOT fit the P30S - in my experience this is because the kydex is molded in such a way that if you insert a P30S "on safe" the holster will actually move the safety to "off" while it is holstered.

I actually don't mind that, because I was a Sig person for almost 20 years before I bought my P30S, so I haven't bothered to take a hair dryer to the holster to fix it.
