So im having a minor issue with my new VP9 its got about 400rds in it now.

The slide fails to fully shut by about 1/10 of a inch during firing some times, simply touching it or shaking the gun will make it shut.

I have cleaned it and re lubed it now, but haven't gotten to shoot it to see if this was the issue or not.

Or could i be limp wresting it causing this?

If not a mechanical issue try changing your support hand placement. The easiest ways to diagnose if it's a support hand issue is try shooting a few mags one handed, if it won't happen one handed then it's your support thumb interfering with the slide. Otherwise you may need to send it back.
