I have a friend that is looking to sell his hk p7 m8, it has the tools and I believe 8 mags. He said I can have it for $1400. Is this a good deal, what is the value?

Depends on condition, but gut feeling says yes. Check gunbroker recent sales. Good to Great condition P7M8's with two mags regularly sell for near 2000. NIB or LNIB can go for more.

I got one recently with 4 mags, tools, and holsters for $1500. It's in excellent shape and I think I got a good deal on it.

It's a fair price for these days. Mine cost me $1400 new about 8 years ago.

That price is better than fair if it comes with 8 mags and isn't beat to shit. I'd buy in a heartbeat

Figure $50 a mag

That's $300 in extra mags

$1200 is a good price for a P7M8 with two mags.

Its a fair to good deal.

I'd buy a few of those mags off you if you need to lower the impact to your wallet. That's a good deal for a P7 depending on the condition.
