Just checked.  It will work but not ideal as the pistol seems to hit some molding "bumps" on the way out

Haha, I am actually wondering about the mag pouch. I like the model 78 but after measuring my mags, ordered the sig p226 model, apparently, a few hundredths do make a big difference and the vp9/p30 mags don't quite make it in.
