With the introduction of Heckler & Koch’s new striker fired pistol, fans are scrambling to find a holster that fits the VP9. H&K states that many P30 holsters will fit the new VP 9, however, the company also cautions that not every P30 scabbard will be a perfect fit. So, we have put together this page to highlight the holsters that are said to work with the new 9mm pistol
Link to HK VP9 Holster List Please add Holsters you know will "work" for P30 and VP9. Add pictures, manufacturer and model of your new VP9 Holster. Thanks! |

I have the Comp-tac Mtac minotaur for P30/45c. According to comp-tac, this holster will NOT work with VP9. The VP9 fits in the holster but due to the slightly longer slide, the trigger guard does not seat/engage the holster the way it should. It is not ideal, but can be used until the right holster is found. |

KT-Tech Gunfighter. It's perfect. It seems extremely durable, it has excellent retention ("clicks" in nice), and it's much less expensive than Raven. I still think it's ridiculous how much holsters cost (including KT-Tech). They should be ~$25. rant/

Been using Haley/G Code INCOG for IWB. For "duty" purposes been using P30 Serpa

I need one for mine , but trying to get better feedback from everyone.

Here are some pics for my vp9 holster I got from http://www.statureman.com/ . He was very prompt to get back to me regarding some special requests I had when making my holster. I ordered late evening last September, and requested he contact me in message box and I received a phone call the next morning. He was very accommodating and I received the holster as requested from order to door in just over 2 weeks.

I am using a fury kydex holster for now, and the kydex is top notch - but the belt loops do not hold the pistol as close to the body as it should. I've ordered so different loops to try. The holster is great though, some of the best kydex I've had, and best of all there is no extended wait on a regular VP9 holster.

I am waiting on a holster from Nightingale leather???should be here next week. It's the OWB Osprey.
I got this company's info from the HK forums...love the look of his work...will certainly post reviews and pics when I get my mitts on my gear. |

Blade Tech now lists the VP9 in its model list when selecting a holster
I have holsters and mag pouches for my USP 45 and Beretta 92FS, they are GTG. |

Just spoke to a rep from Safariland.......take it for what it's worth, I called to ask about the 578 pro fit and the VP9, I was told the ALS version would be shipping either at the end of this month or the first week of next month
2 version, can't remember the number designations exactly but I believe it was the 6790/6738. 6790 being the thumb activated ALS locking system with the duty style push down shroud as well and the 6738 being the open top thumb activated version only |

PSA is having clearance on Safariland ALS Level III STX HK P30 holsters regular $119.99 on sale for $29.99 I ordered one for my HK VP9 to test I couldn't pass up price.

I would like to order one but dont want a sloppy fit or problems with locking system. |

According to Safariland only the 578 will "fit" the VP9. We will have to wait on Shooter's feedback to see how well it works with VP9 I may pick one up for my P30, because it needs a OWB holster anyhow, and its only $30. |

The Galco Kingtuk IWB made for HK's (KT428B) will work for the VP9, the new one I ordered for my USP Compact 45 fits my VP9 perfect. Galco actually states in there online fitting guide it works, my new kingtuk has VP9 on the guns that it will fit sticker. When I get time Im going to take pictures and post them here. |

The StealthGearUSA IWB holster for the VP9 is fantastic. It is my EDC rig and is very comfortable and secure.

Looking forward to it Shooter!
I ordered the RTT combo from Bravo Concealment. Will be 4-6 weeks before it comes, but should be worth the wait. |

Funny, I bought I holster for a gun I don't own.
Yet... Ordered the holster from PSA 3 days ago because I have the same holster for my Glock 21. Great duty holster. Ordered the QLS receiver and forks to mount on the UBL, and plan to swap holsters between belts. |
|
Thanks Shooter
I ordered it. Hard to go wrong with the price. |
|
No problem, I had to go somewhere earlier and the UPS man got here late so I'll make the video later tonight and post it. It fits really snug, and just putting my thumb on the left side of the gun and pulling it doesn't bind up or anything. Really like the level 3 guard too.

Been drawing with it for about 10 minutes feels real good and I don't see any marks on the inside of the holster from rubbing. I did notice on my P30 serpa holster that there was some light markings on the holster from the right side of the slide but really small. |

For that price, I had to buy one. Thanks for posting Shooter!

I just got my Osprey OWB holster and mag puch from Nghgingale Gun
Eat her, and have worn the gun and pouch today for the last 6 hours...very comfortable, am able to conceal my VP9 and reload while wearing a pair of jeans and a T shirt. The holster is very well made, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. There is one downside about nightingale...they require a long lead time..but you cannot rush quality, and this holster has it in spades. Again..well worth it. |
|
The only thing I see about the Safariland holster is those wing tabs on the back of the VP9, if they had the blank inserts it would just go in maybe another 1/8". I mean mine sits in there nice and snug, but you will see the wings just barely touch it once seated.
|
|
JM custom kydex makes a vp9 specific version of their holsters. I have an owb on order, will be here in 8-9 weeks. I have had multiple holsters from them, all fantastic quality, incredibly low profile, and conceal well.

Not sure this one just had the belt clip on it, but I am sure it is like the Serpa.

There are also Molle adapters and other mounting platforms (they use a standard 3 hole pattern for all the ALS holsters). |

Received the safariland holster from PSA (6360-295-411) according to packaging Upon further investigation back of holster body is engraved ( 6860-91 HK USP 40 1709 ) Shooter what are the markings on the back of your holster? VP9 fits great regardless. Almost fits Vp9 better than it fits p30, which is odd EDIT- Top picture the gun wasnt fully seated in holster http://<a href=http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a500/Morganic9/IMG_03351_zps3o53r45x.jpg</a>" /> I recieved mine today also! I noticed the same thing.package was marked p30 but holster was engraved usp 40. What concerned me was my vp9 wouldn't lock in. Meaning I could rotate hood and pull gun straight up forcefully without disengaging thumb tab. Called psa they issued call tag printed it out and they will send me replacement http://<a href=http://i1280.photobucket.com/albums/a500/Morganic9/IMG_03361_zpsurrlvpwk.jpg</a>" /> View Quote |

Lint, dust, high areas rubbed shiny, all of the finish on the screw heads is worn off. I don't really mind the wear, especially for the price, but it didn't say in the add that they were used. Slightly disappointed. I want to see if it will fit my USP 45 before I send it back. |

PSA sent you a used holster WTF View Quote ETA: GnG, according to your pics, yours looks used as well, by the looks of the finish on the screw heads. Albeit, MUCH less used than mine. Apparently... So, I got it home and in no way does it fit my VP9. It is marked USP 40 on the back so I stuck my USP 45 in it and it fit like a glove. I called and talked to a very nice lady at PSA, and told her the packaging was correct but the product was wrong and "well used". She was unaware that they even sold used holsters but someone there told her that these were sold as used from Safariland, I assume as police buybacks. She was willing to send me a shipping label and refund my money after I illustrated that I was a bit let down for not getting what I ordered, especially in the condition that it arrived in, but I said I am going to keep the holster anyway. The price was right and the holster is still a serviceable item. She refunded my shipping and I called the matter settled. I did mention that I had heard others have had the same problem (referring to this thread). She made a note to relay this problem to the warehouse and thanked me for the feedback. The plastic bag packaging was new and had all of the paperwork and a cardboard block inside the holster. Almost like there were intentionally packaging it to appear new when it was blatantly a VERY used item. |

Bought one of these for my Sig P320
http://www.hogueinc.com/store/products/ars-stage-1-carry-sig-sauer-p250-right-hand-holster-black/7819 Then bought a Vp9 and needed a range holster for it also. Figured what the hell and tried the P320 holster out on the Vp9. Fits and functions perfectly in the exact same holster. |

Yeah PSA sent me a used one with 6360-91-411 that is for a USP 40. Now mine I noticed was a little dirty and I called and bitched them out, so they sent me a new one will see what it looks like Monday. With all that said, it does fit great, I just don't like the idea of a used holster being sent to me.

Also if you get "Emery" in customer service on the phone, just ask for someone else I have had at least 4 things with problems with him and he is the most unhelpful piece of sh$%t there.
