What says the board?  Stick with the elephant feet and acquire more 10 rounders or get some 8s?

I prefer the 8s because they set flush...the 10s are nice to have those extra 2 rounds, but MAN are they the ugliest thing...

Concealment and price bargains are the only real reasons to pick the 8rders over the 10rders

Stick with the 8 round magazines for the HK45C. The 10 round elephant foot magazine impairs the ability to conceal well and just looks plain fugly. If you want a handgun with a 10 round magazine, buy the HK45.

I have several of both, use the elephant foot mags at the range and for back up in car and home.....

For CC I use the 8 rounders with the lip....

Where are you guys getting mags for a reasonable price?

Cheapest I found them was $50 for the 10 rounders at Botach. CDNN usually has a decent price on them too. (I know $50 still sucks, but it's better than $65-$70..)

Gunbroker and Ebay.  So far I've scored quite a few HK45c mags from $40-45...

Cool, I'll keep an eye out.  I used to have a couple USPs.....I know I shouldn't be surprised by the magazine prices but damn, how quickly I forgot

I use the 8 rd mag with a flat floor plate for ccw and extended mags for reloads.
