It's basically a Royal Blue finished Combat Commander with a 3-hole trigger, 1991 model sights, special stocks, Gold Cup serrated front-strap and jeweled Hammer and Grip Safety. It's a stunning looking pistol and shoots like a dream. Unlike some of my other Colts, this Combat Commander is tight and rock solid. 400 were produced in 2008-2009. They do pop up for sale every now and then, but they don't last long and after handling and firing this puppy, I think I know why. Here's a few more pics of the Royal Combat Commander:

Not a good picture. But works for this purpose. My workhorse Colt Stainless Series 80 Government Model. More often than not, it serves as my primary home defense piece. ![]() |
