Looks good!  The gearhead side of me automatically thought of a customized/hack job of a Mustang car into a pickup/Ranchero type rig.  I'd forgot about the Colt Mustangs.

Looks nice, always wanted one, but instead I got the kimber micro.  The sig p238 just doesn't do it for me.

I just picked one up as well. OP does your mag release make a clicking noise when fully depressed?

Yeah, I guess it does.
I had to check.
It clicks twice. Feels normal to me.
Like a spring compressing and a lever moving.

Great shooters.
Easy to make wood grips for.
Strong trigger pull though.

Changed out the grips and replaced the plastic trigger & guide rod to stainless steel.

VZ grips?   Nice gun.   My wife carries one.  I have the slightly larger Government .380.

Will the VZ grips fit on the Government model .380?

Grips are very easy to make for the Mustang.
I've made some figured walnut and curly cherry grips.
I got some medallions off ebay.

Of course they aren't checkered
