I bought this 1919 Colt Police Positive Special at the flea market this morning for $125.00.

The period hard rubber stocks were broke off on the heel on both sides (it must have been dropped) so I put a set of new old stock Fitwell grips on it I had in my Box-O-Grips till I get around to repairing the originals.

I've always thought the Colt PP Special was the perfect balance between size and cartridge (non-+P). More of a kit gun in size/weight.

That's pretty cool.  You're a regular bloodhound when it comes to finding interesting old firearms.
