I guess after 3 days and numerous views I am in the minority and that is OK. I was just curious if others had interest in a Thumb Safety.

Bad enough they seem to be dropping the good mag release....ruining their guns with a thumb safety would just be insulting.

All the new models seem to have the standard button style release. The paddle style mag release is the reason I own Walthers. Id have a Q5 right now if they came with the old style. Ill probably still buy one but ill have to try and trade frames with somebody who has a PPQ M1.
