The PPQ22 is a full size, the P22 is tiny.
if you can find the PPQ22 on sale it is not that much more. |

I have owned a P22 and now own a PPQ 22. I would say that they are world's apart in quality. PSA just had the PPQ 22 on sale for $249 but it looks like it's OOS now.

Are the internals of the ppq22 any different or is it the same gun in a bigger shell?

The P22 is hammer fired with an external hammer. The ppq 22 is a different animal it has an internal "hammer"
