I recently bought a Glock 19 to shoot alongside the PPQ and to decide which one I was going to keep in the long term.  I have been thinking about switching totally over to Glock to standardize my handguns.

But how can I do that when I shoot my PPQ like this?

In true arfcom tradition, keep both.

27 of those look really good, but what's the deal on those other 3?

I think I get excited or I lose focus and I start jerking the trigger.  I also think that sometimes I try to control the recoil too much causing me to dip my barrel.

I think you wasted your money buying the Glock.

Sell the glock. Buy another PPQ

Hate the ppq because after I shot one none of my other pistols are bearable to shoot now, except for my Grand Power

The first 4 rounds I shot with a PPQ were touching each other...and it was a rental. Knew I was hooked at that point.

Does anyone know the thread size for the threaded barrel that comes with the PPQ M2 Navy?

I believe the threads are 1/2 x 28.

Good shooting with your Walther.
This household has been Glock-free for several years now, and it is a good, clean feeling.

If PPQs had spare parts easily available as much as Glocks do, I would not have any Glocks.

Same here.  I love my PPQ but I carry my Glock 19.

How much worse is the recoil on the Ppq compared to the 19?

Recoil for me seems to be about the same. I seem to get slightly more muzzle flip with my PPQ vs G19. ymmv

I just bought the PPQ in 22, I couldn't resist at $279 shipped.

I just purchased a Walther PPQ and it's the most ergonomically perfect pistol I've ever had my mitts on. After owning just about all Glock models since the '80's and dealing with the "hump" on all of them I've finally found "Perfection"!

I too did a comparison between my G19 and my PPQ.  I kept both because I liked both.

I will be getting a PPQ .45 as I don't have any desire for a Glock 45.  I think the PPQ .45 is what is going to push the product line into mainstream gun buying consciousness (if such a thing exists).

You have to have a compelling reason for someone to purchase a PPQ if they "already have a Glock".

I'm in the process of selling my HK USPc 9mm - to get a PPQ.

Even after some expensive trigger work the USP trigger is still crap.  Too long.  Too gritty.

I've heard rave reviews about the PPQ triggers.

Keep both..... Diversity in guns is a great thing.  I am partial to Glock and Sig but my small carry is a Walther.  I am not brand loyal.

I've owned a G19 for about 15yrs.  Bought a PPQ a yr ago because I liked how the grip and trigger pull felt in the gun shop.  I won't be selling either.

PPQ is like a Glock 20 years in the future.
