Seems like they really knocked this out of the park and Im about ready to snag one up.

Is 580 a good price to grab one?  Locally they're well north of 600, so ordering one seems to be the best bet.  Ive found mags as low as 33 dollars which seems fair.

Anything else I need to know before I snag one up?

check Kyle's gun shop, doesn't look like it is listed right now but I got mine a few weeks ago, $540 - $25 discount = $515 and free shipping

Online price seems to usually be in the $550-$600 range. Keep in mind that after shipping and transfer fees the local one might actually be cheaper, especially if they have some wiggle room. I found one online for $545 but passed since they wanted $100 for shipping.

I bought mine from them and it was the best price around even with shipping and the $20 FFL transfer.

Bud's Online was $543 last week and they had the mags for $33 ish as well. Keep an eye on them because their prices fluctuate a lot.

I was in a LGS today and the bare model M2 was $585 and the Navy was $645.

I've seen them for $579 around here. Might find them a bit cheaper online (usually the case with everything), but by the time you pay the transfer fees (shipping if applicable and the FFL fee) I'd rather just spend the money locally.

Grab a Gun has M1 models in stock (so they say) for $541: I know what you need

I sold my M&P to buy the Walther PPQ, that was an excellent decision. The Walther is so much better. Paid $569 at LGS.

I don't know.  Apex parts make the M&P pretty damn nice.

I feel terrible, I bought a new one last week on sale for $325. at Diamondback in Tucson.  They had purchased 20 from a gunstore that went out of business and used them as a sale item to get folks in the store to buy ammo, holsters, etc for them.

I am waiting to shoot my dad's before buying one

Regardless, I've purchased guns from both places. Very good to deal with.

One to a customer, but I called two of my CCW students who walked out with one each within an hour.  I will probably use mine in our introduction course and continue to carry my HK.

Way better gun than any glock, and I own a g17.
Ten times better feel, feeds better, takedown is easier. Trigger is fantastic.
Did I mention that I like the gun?

Finally took it to the range. I'm getting 2" groups at 30 ft. With 147 gr XTP bullets. I'm very happy with the PPQ.

Palmetto currently has the PPQ M2 for $529, and there's free shipping on all firearms through today (Sunday).

That's a deal that's hard to beat...

Got mine for about $530 out the door. Most places locally are selling them for $600. One place is crazy, with them listed at $679!! That's higher than retail.

I was able to go through GOG and a small local shop for a really good deal.

Love the pistol so far.

Picked up a couple extra 15 rounders and just got (2) 17 round mags yesterday.

Paid $540 for mine OTD at a local gun show. It is one of my favorite pistols, wish they would make in .45acp

Got mine for $547 including shipping from palmetto state armory and then a $15 ffl transfer.
It only took them 2weeks to ship it out. Apparently they were updating their shipping department.
So shipments should be lightning fast now.... Hahahahaha

Buds or impact had them online cheap. I'm looking to buy one as well. I'm going to stop by gander today to see if they have one. I know, gander. But sometimes their prices are reasonable enough to justify the convenience. But I wouldn't be surprised if they had an $800 price tag on it too.

Just got one for $540 + tax from my LGS today.  Really like it so far.  Fantastic trigger for a plastic gun.

Keep in mind I'm in CA. and we get F'ed all the way around here unfortunately.

I just bought mine for $625.00 locally ( $701 OTD after Tax and DROS)

All these online places for cheap Will Not ship to a non-free sate like CA. due to magazine restrictions

SO I am stuck buying locally and paying more ... they get the deals and forward to cost on to me.

But really the cheapest FFL around here is $60 for transfer plus I pay tax regardless.

So even if I could get a gun online at say GragAGun for say $530 .... I would still be paying $590 .... I would save 35 bucks but hey they get these for me and I don;t have to hassle with is so no biggie ... Plus CA. local gun shop need all the business they can get!

But in the end that's my price here in the Central valley CA.

And that was a great price ... two other Main shops sell them for $689 (before any taxes and fee's)

So I am happy with the price overall and can;t wait to get it in my hands ..... Ya Ya Ya ... we have to wait 10 days to own our paid for guns .... F This State!!!!!!!!!!!

Came in a week or so ago.

Added a set of Dawson Precision since.

Have not yet got it to the range but I hope it shoots as good as it looks and feels.
