I tend not to call things "gay" unless they are actually homosexual in some way. Probably just me.
Anyway, not my cup of tea on the ornamentation... but if you like it and it doesn't adversely affect function, isn't that all that really matters? JMHO. |

it's not my cup of tea.
But if you like it, and it makes you happy, then who cares? It's a lot less gay than worrying about what a bunch of opinionated idiots you've never met from a message board on the internet think about it. |

Forrest i see what you mean, however its still good to get some opinions from others. About firearm choices, equipment, tactics, etc., yes, I agree. About cosmetics? Not so much, IMO. Different strokes and all that. Make it look the way YOU want it to look, period. (Again, short of anything that might adversely affect function.) I have several nice guns that y'all would most likely find fugly. |

This
I would paint the frame a green or brown color (mine's being cerakoted right now). Now that would be badass. |
|
I'm digging the lettering, but man I cannot stand whatever it is you have on the ejector. Less is more sometimes you know?
|

Whatever floats your boat.
Personally, I'd like the chrome mud-flap girl on mine. No, I'm not kidding. |
|
Its good work, but I never do much to dress up my guns. I like basic stuff and really like holster/use/carry wear...

Since the OP used the term to start with, well, yeah, its gay.
Somewhere there is a German engineer with an uncontrollable eye tick who doesn't know why. |

Reminds me of something you'd see around a laser tag place. I'll say that I couldn't do it myself and that you've got some talent, but it's a little 80's pastel hi-viz short shorts ish.
It's funky and I dig it, just not necessarily for a handgun. |

Mention the word "gay" and you won't get a "straight" answer.
Never the less, I think it looks good. Out West |

I'll have to start with pointing out that the slur in the thread title already biased me against what ever you did before I even saw it, as it brought into question things like "good taste", "good judgment" and "maturity" on the part of the author. People will judge you based on how you talk and how you write.
But even on it's own merits I don't like it. It makes an already plastic pistol look like it came from a toy store. |

This guy receives his PC programing nicely. Nothing at all "PC" about it... or me, for that matter. I just personally find it childish, bordering on asinine, to ascribe characteristics of sex/sexual preference to things/issues that have absolutely nothing to do with sex in any way. Been railing against such for years, here and elsewhere. May not change anyone's mind in the least ever nor make them think at all about what they say/type, but that's okay. YMMV, and that's fine too. |

Quoted: So "gay" is a slur now? Is "black" a slur? How about "fat"? I'd say that most anything that's painted up in rainbow colors for no apparent reason could be construed as "gay" They did pick the rainbow to represent the gay movement after all. http://rlv.zcache.com/so_gay_cant_even_drive_straight_rainbow_flag_bumper_sticker-r0f681c8e687b4e9780a5c604d6c8e92a_v9wht_8byvr_512.jpg View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I'll have to start with pointing out that the slur in the thread title already biased me against what ever you did before I even saw it, as it brought into question things like "good taste", "good judgment" and "maturity" on the part of the author. But don't go by me, I'm a radical religious fundamentalist who still somehow manages to be "PC." |

Well, if you think it looks good sitting on the nightstand.......
Not my cup of tea. My opinion is to get that s**t off the gun. This is my opinion. Your opinion may vary. |
