Good news indeed, maybe now we can actually find P99's and PPS's in stores!

Maybe we'll see "real" PPK/s, PP's & PPK's. I hate the looks of the S&W frames:( BTW, just my opinion.

Sorry.

"Walther and Smith & Wesson will maintain their strategic alliance on several fronts—Smith & Wesson will continue to manufacture the PPK for Walther Arms, Inc."
I voted for Joe DeBergalis for the NRA Board of Directors. Have you yet?

A German made PP series pistol would be utterly uncompetitive in the market because of how expensive it would be.

I wonder how many actually are sold in the US each year?

I've got a PPS and have been thinking of replacing it with a Shield...

The P22 is a notorious tub of shit and doesn't count as a real Walther.

Yup, a zink slide wonder made by Umarex.

Not a real Walther at all.

true but it still reflects garbage customer service from them. the parts came from walther in germany.

The Umarex facility is very nice and I'm sure that Walther will be very methodical in setting up operations. Personally, Walther needs to do a better job in working with American "aftermarket" companies for sights and so forth. The PPQ is one of the best pistols on the market, if not "the" best, and I would like to see it better supported by the aftermarket crowd.

If they setup operations they probably will get a bunch of Joe Dirts going "I'm new, I don't know what to do"".
