THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I decided to take some pics comparing my new PPS, P30L and the Glock 19.

First up is a pic of the HK and Walther next to my buddies FNP-45. The FN kicks like a kitten. A very tame .45, a real joy to shoot.

Here's a family shot of all my favorite little krauts

PPS with a 7 Round magazine stacked on top of the 19 for reference

Huge difference in width. The PPS is an absolute dream to carry. It's just small enough to be an ideal CCW, but big enough to be comfortable and easy to shoot.

And again with the P30L

The trio yet again

The Glock 19 on top of the P30L for reference

A slide/width comparisson between the 19 and P30L

The P30L was my EDC for almost 2 years, but now the PPS filled that roll. The difference is night and day

The HK is easily the most comfortable pistol I have ever held. Here's a comparisson of the grips. The PPS is absurdly slim.

All 3 back-to-back

Now here's a comparisson of the PPS with an 8 round magazine next to the Glock.

They are almost the exaxt same height, it's just the angle of the Walther's baseplate that makes it seem longer when comparing them upright.

Hope you guys enjoyed the pics!

Thanks for taking all of those. How are you carrying your PPS?

Blackhawk No. 5 cheapo IWB holster @ 3:30. Very comfy for me. I have no complaints. The Theis/Crossbreed/whatever I decide on will be coming in a couple weeks. Along with some new sites. I will admit, it is taking a while to get used to the sites. I am so used to shooting HK's where the front sight is actually over the point of impact. I think I will opt for XS Big-Dot sites soon.

Pretty cool comparison.
I've been contemplating on getting another CCW.
The walther PPS may be IT.
Too bad they dont make it in .45 cal, need a companion for my HK USP tactical.

Thanks for the pics. I've been looking to replace my G19 for summer with something slimmer and I have narrowed it down to the PPS.

The pics really helped me solidify my decision.

Yes it is. I love my PPS and recommend it to everyone who asks me what CCW gun to get.
Never follow anyone shorter than you; they can walk under things that you can't.

I don't recommend it to all but I do recommend it to many.

The PPS is a wonderful CCW pistol.

Lol, agreed. Though I believe there is beauty in function, HK manages to have form and flawless performance. I think ithe P30L is one of the sexiest sidearms ever made. I'm glad you liked the pics! :)

Nice PPS. Since you love HK so much, why not the P2000sk?
