My latest Taurus firearm is a stainless PT-1911AR

I also have a couple of PT-145's

My first was a revolver...a stainless 415 in .41mag that sadly I let get away.

I have been looking really hard at that little 709.....

Here's a revolver that'll keep up with a single stack semi-auto, and is more powerful to boot! Whether target shooting, hunting, or home defense, this Taurus 608, stainless steel, Eight shot .357 Magnum with intergral compensated 6.5" barrel, has more than enough capacity for almost any job, and is more accurate stock out of the box than most can shoot. Sub 2" groups with open sights off hand at 25 yards is a piece of cake on a bad day..Recoil is negligible at best.  Built like a tank and should last forever. There is nothing like it I can compare it too. Awesome gun!

Here's a size comparison to my Smith 642.. The Taurus is a true beast, but tames even the hottest loads.

nice work!
I'm thinking I may start looking for another Taurus 1911 with the blued finish for a build/duracote project, that is if I can get my financial adviser(the wife) to turn loose of the funding...lol

so for now here's an updated pic of my stainless (the one at the top of this page) with the new black accented parts NM the trigger I put the Taurus one back in just wanted to see how it would look with a black trigger in there.
and since I took this pic I have installed an extended magwell and black mainspring.

What hammer you got in the PT1911? I want to swap mine out to get rid of the silly lock and also get something more aesthetically pleasing.

pics from when i first got my pt1911. It now has quite a bit more finish wear. As it has been my main carry gun. I'm thinking of duracoating it. We'll see though.

Great minds think alike.  I had the same idea a year ago, except I threw on a couple modified wooden grips (beveled out room for the decocker), and I kept the matched barrels to their slide.  Wish I took a pic of them before I sold them, one of my regrets.  Very nice good sir!

That's what I like about Taurus they make copies of all the popular guns. Didn't know about the gauchos? Ill have to compare it to ruger. Can't believe they haven't cloned the glock yet. Do not currently own a Taurus but always open to a good deal.

I'll play.

PT101 that is in my opinion, the BEST fullsize .40 for the money ($299 at Academy on sale) and the only 2-tone matte Judge I've ever seen. Big ups to the wife for buying me that for father's day :)

Holy cow!!
What length is the barrel on that beast?

BTW nice collection. I only have a 608, 85 and 85SS. However I'm negotiating on a price for a PT101. I'll take some pics and post them here soon. I was actually very shocked to see the picture thread is this small. I started a picture thread on the Para Ordnance forum and they have even passed this threads page count.

20 years after seeing it for the first time in Guns & Ammo and falling in love, I finally purchased one of my holy grail guns. And the only half way decent picture I have is a crappy Iphone pic of a dirty gun. So please bear with me until the weather gets better around here.

My fiancee's M627 Tracker:

My old and slightly worn M817 Ultralite, .38 Special +P. 7 shots on tap. Been a workhorse gun since I picked it up new back in 2000, hence it looking a bit rough. Four thousand rounds later, it still runs well.

And while it's not actually a Taurus, the company does own the Rossi name and properties. So, why not post a pic? The Rossi/Braztech R461 I gave my sister as a companion to her Charter 2000 Undercover:
