My friend sold me a stainless TCP with a Crimson Trace and 100 rounds of ammo for $200. I already have a body guard so this will be a nice compliment. My GF likes this one because of the laser, so I may not own it for long haha. He has two of them and said he could use the cash. It's a "C" series. Are there known issues with this series? I figured I couldn't lose either way since it came with the laser and ammo.

Thoughts?

ya i think that was a good deal .mines an e sires and its been great feeds everything you through at it.

I carry a "C" and no problems yet.

I carry a "C" series and have hundreds and hundreds of rounds threw mine GTG.

That's good to know. I've given a Bodyguard 500 rounds so far and it's still not reliable. I may throw 200 rounds down this gun and if it's reliable I'm going to sell the BG.

This has replaced my BG. I have 300 rounds through it and not 1 hiccup and locks back every time. Pretty accurate too.

Now I'm up to 800 rounds and not a SINGLE problem. I hate it because it works so well...haha.

very nice Irik mine has also been flawless and very easy to shoot compared to the ruger and kel tec it has to be the best 380 for under 200 bucks.and accurate.

That's great. I'm glad to hear it. I'm at 1,020 rounds and only had 1 failure to feed malfunction with perfecta ammo on round 1,014. I haven't cleaned it since I hit 500 rounds. It was so filthy. Towards the end the spent casings were coming out almost black haha. She's all clean and got a hair cut.

I think the TCP and the SLIM series guns are the best that Taurus makes, they seem to be very reliable.

I would tend to agree. I'm not sure (haven't researched) about the slim but the TCP is made in the states! I haven't shot it much since it's gotten chilly outside. My shield has been seeing a lot more carry.
