I posted this in the general forum but I have a friend who for medical reasons need a VERY light recoiling handgun and the PT132 in 32acp stikes me as the perfect gun. Does anyone own one and does it have any kick? Is it reliable and accurate? Any draw backs other than only being in .32??

I got one for my wife and she really enjoys shooting it. Very little recoil, very reliable after a break-in period, and surprisingly accurate. I can get a paper plate sized grouping at 20 yards, but I am experienced with shooting. It did require some break in time. It have a few (less than 10) failure to ejects early on while firing, but all of the springs are broke in now. It fires flawlessly now. Great pistol for the money. Ammo is pricy though.

I have one for the wife also. My First one was awful! Failed to fire about 30% of the time. It didn't matter what ammo and was after any break in should have occurred. It was sent back to Taurus for repair with no change in what was going on 4 times. I begged them to refund or replace and they at least replaced it with a new one. With the new unit I've been to busy to put more than 50rds thru it. So far this one seems fine but after such a issue with that first one i will need 500 flawless rds before i will trust it.

It is however a soft shooter and one of only 2 semiautos my wife can pull the slide on. Extra mags are not a option. I was so lucky that when they replaced the gun i got a extra mag out of the deal so now i have 3. Ammo is pricey, so reload or buy in bulk. I also have the crimson trace laser gaurd for it. My wife is now ready to step up to 9mm so maybe ill look to move this almost new one with its extras.

I have 1, it doesn't like S&B ammo (fails to ignite it) but everything else works. it is a soft shooter w/a good trigger. I like the trigger on it much better than the Keltec P32 and Ruger LCP.

I had a Pre-Pro PT132 for years, and I somewhat regret selling it. I'd been given a Beretta Tomcat and decided "I only need one .32 ACP pistol."

Mine was practically flawless. Once I found it prefered my handloads to be a little light on powder, it never misfed on me. Definitely low recoil.
