THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
A few months back i purchased a new pt845 and so far i have had some really good luck with it. I had a few stove pipes in the first couple clips. Ut it did smooth out and shot pretty good.

Does anyone know of a good holster being used for the 845? I have heard of people using the 24/7 holsters but i wanted to see what people had for ideas.

i just got one and really like it when I took both mags apart to clean them I found that each of the springs had been sprayed with red paint for some reason ( may be id diffent calibers?) and when I wiped them down the paint started to come off leaving me a mess of little paint flakes,
Anyone else have spray painted springs ?
The mags have a nice blued finish but lack a little in quality.
Other than that and polymer hammer it is nice.
I can't wait to shoot it this weekend .

I have had a pt-845 for a year or so have only shot 100rds or so but no problems an no paint on the mag springs.I need to shoot it more but u know to many guns an not enough time.I guess my only complaint is the mag release is on the heavy side seems to be getting better with use ,also need to rap mag in place but that a good drill to use with any auto

Well just got around to shoot my 845 and I am not sure what to think of it yet, I noted the following :
It shot very low and I had to aim about 1" higher for 6 oclock hold,
Yes my mag release button is hard to depress and not releasing the mags smoothly,
the decocker is so hard to depress that I found it frustrating to use.
The good is that I shot 150 rounds Wally World white box and had no FTF.
Even though I had to raise the point of aim the groupings were good.
i do like this gun maybe it was just me I will shoot again and see how things go
Anyone else experience anything like this?

American guns' point of impact is just at the top of the front sight post. It's your natural point of aim.

When an imported gun shoots low, it's probably set to POI in the center of the dot that's on the front sight post. At 7 - 20 yards, that's about 1" - 2" lower.

I tac makes a holster for the 24/7 series guns. it states its for 9mm/40 however it will fit the 845 with ease

Here is a pic

I love the 845 however mine has had failure to return to battery issues since day one and is going back for the third time now.

I have a PT111 that has been flawless and the 845 is super nice when it feeds properly.

ETA Stay far as you can away from taurusarmed.net. the mods there hide any threads containing guns with issues. they move it to a complaints section that can only be seen if you sign up as a memeber.

It is full of shady fuckers.
