My department issues Streamight M3 Lights and several people have asked bout a LED conversion kit. Does anyone know of a kit out there or has anyone tried this?

Do your self the favor and buy a TRL-1 HL and don't bother with conversions

What Castillo said.  The M3 is old, discontinued tech, there is zero reason to try and keep one running or converted to LED.  Get a TLR-1, it will fit the holster you're already using with an M3, and the function switches are identical.  

This topic comes up from time to time, and nobody has ever been able to locate an LED upgrade for the M3.  They just don't exist anymore.
