I started my search a couple of years ago for a holster to  carry one of my six guns. Since nothing was found that I liked I decided to try my hand at making one, then 2, then another. Once I learned from each holster I started to buy all the little tools and buy large pieces of saddle skirting. I found that I much better prefer thick leather for my holsters at least 12oz or better.

I now make different kinds of holsters, belt slides, or traditional holsters. I also make them for my 1911's, six guns, and poly pistols. I still do not make them for public sale because I'm just an amateur and don't have the talent to make "professional" built work.

Those holsters look great and you have a nice collection of handguns! I really like the belt slide version for the Single action revolvers……

Looking good. Here's one I made. I love working with leather although now I mainly make knife sheaths.
