Not bad.  If I recall correctly, tritium has a half life of 12 years.

So, in 3 years, your sights will be 1/4 as bright as they were new.

That is one of the negatives of growing older, having to replace night sights.

It is better than the alternative, however.

Turn the lights on, that way you can see at what you got the business end of that thing pointed.

A better question is, how many times have I had to aim in the dark?  And the answer to that is once.  Thankfully, a trigger pull wasn't needed.

I once had a gunsmith tell me that he didn't like installing night sights because "if you have to pull it, they'll be from here to that door away anyway" (about 10 feet)


Needless to say, I took my business elsewhere...

Not Bad

Meps on most of my guns, always thought they would be toast around 15 years.
My plan is when they are that dim to just replace the front sight.
