That's going to be a tough one. I've put on several RMR's and they are a bit over an inch wide. Doctor 3's are about the narrowest micro red dot I know of and they are probably too wide to do on a 42.

Yeah all the micro dots I know of are an inch or more and 100 thousandths is just a bit too much over hang

ATEi makes an adapter for an RMR to fit a 1911 better. Something like that might work for the 42.

Look at a JPoint. It may be small enough.

JPoint is 25.4 mm so 1 inch as well
