any one use this holster or a similar one? I ordered one and it seems that the holster doesn't completely cover the trigger. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong or something, but neither my Colt nor my Loaded will fit with the trigger completely covered. Seems that the triggerguard rubs up against the tension adjustment thing before the gun is completely holstered. I dont think anything would be able to get into the triggerguard , but it kinda makes me uneasy. Is there anything I'm doing or not doing?

Looks like you're all the way in on the muzzle end. Do you feel as though retention is satisfactory? If retention is satisfactory, then I'd probably just use it as is. I have a Wilson Combat T1 that looks very similar. It's hard to tell, but I think the muzzle end on mine bottoms out on the end before the trigger guard hits the retention screw.

Can't say I like much of anything in regards to that holster. Moved

You're not doing anything wrong - that just seems to be the way these holsters are cut. I have the same holster for an S&W 5906, and about the same amount of the trigger guard is exposed:

The 5906 is of course a DA pistol, so the trigger is farther forward and completely covered by the holster.

I'm not sure if anything could actually get to the trigger on yours and trip it unintentionally, but it doesn't really look to be an ideal holster for a 1911 type pistol.

thanks for the input guys. I've emailed the manuf, but have yet to hear anything....i wont hold my breath.

I dont think anything can get inside the trigger guard either, but it still makes me a bit nervous with a SA platform. Live and learn I suppose.
